We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use Interesso, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws. Data Controller: Interesso (operated by an individual founder). Since Interesso is not yet a registered company, the individual founder operating Interesso acts as the data controller for your personal information.Contact Information: If you have questions or requests regarding your personal data, you can reach us at [email protected].We do not currently have an appointed Data Protection Officer (DPO), as this is not required given our size. However, we take privacy seriously, and you can contact the founder at the above email for any privacy-related inquiries.---Data We CollectWe collect several types of information to provide and improve the Interesso app. This includes:1. Account Information
When you create an account, we ask for basic details such as your name, email address, password, and date of birth. Date of birth is used to verify age-appropriate access to features (for example, only users 18+ can create groups).2. Profile Details
Information you add to your profile, including your profile photo, interests (hobbies, group categories you like), and any bio or description. These help personalize your experience and let other users know about you in the app.3. Location Data
We may collect your location to show you nearby groups and events. This could be:
- your general location (e.g. city or region) provided by you, or
- with your permission, your device’s precise location (via GPS)You can control location sharing via your device settings.4. Messages & Communications
The content of messages and chat interactions you have on Interesso (for example, messages with other group members or event chats). We need this data to deliver your messages and help keep communities safe.> Private messages are only visible to the intended recipients, but we may review content if needed to investigate abuse.5. Event and Activity Information
Details about the meetups or groups you create, join, or attend through the app. For instance, when you RSVP to an event, create a new interest group, or check in to a meetup, we record that activity.6. Device and Usage Data
When you use Interesso, we automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.We also collect usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics), such as:
- which screens or features you use
- actions you take (e.g. joining a group or updating your profile)This helps us understand how the app is used and improve it.7. Firebase Analytics Events
Our app integrates Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to log events like app launches, button clicks, and other in-app behaviors. These events are tied to unique app instance IDs or advertising IDs but do not directly reveal your identity; they help us analyze user trends overall.8. Social Login Data (Optional)
If you choose to sign up or log in via a third-party account (Apple, Google, or Facebook), we receive information from that provider – typically your name, email address, and a unique identifier.- We use this info to create or log you into your Interesso account.
- We do not receive your social media password or post anything to your social profiles.
- Using social login is completely optional.9. IP Address and Device Information
Collected automatically for security (e.g. IP used to detect and prevent suspicious logins) and for showing content in your language/region. Device information (like device type, OS, and app crashes) also helps us troubleshoot issues and ensure compatibility.Sensitive Data
We do not intentionally collect any sensitive personal data such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health information, or sexual orientation.Please avoid sharing sensitive details about yourself or others on Interesso. If you do provide this type of information (for example, in a group description or message), you consent to our processing of that information as part of the app’s normal functionality.---How We Use Your DataInteresso uses your personal data to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Specifically, we use the information we collect to:1. Provide the Core Service
We use account and profile data to create your account and personalize your experience. For example:
- your name and profile photo are used to identify you to other meetup participants;
- your interests help us recommend relevant groups or events;
- if you RSVP to or create a meetup, we use your data to manage those events (e.g., listing you as an attendee or host).2. Facilitate Social Connections
The app is designed for finding local groups and events, so we use your information to connect you with other users – for example:
- showing your profile to people in a group you join;
- sharing your RSVP status with the organizer and attendees of an event.Any posts or messages you send in a group/event will be visible to the other authorized members of that space.3. Communicate with You
We use your email address or in-app notifications to send important communications, such as:
- verification emails and welcome messages;
- event reminders and group updates;
- responses if you contact our support.We may also send announcements about new app features or updates.

Data like your date of birth helps us enforce age restrictions (e.g., preventing users under 18 from creating groups).We also use usage data, IP addresses, and messages (where necessary) to detect and prevent:
- fraud
- spam
- abuse or violations of our TermsKeeping Interesso safe and secure is a top priority.5. Personalize Content
We may analyze your interests, group memberships, and activity to personalize the app, e.g.:
- recommending groups or events you might like;
- prioritizing content on your home feed that aligns with your hobbies and past meetup activity.6. Analytics and Improvements
Using aggregated usage data (via Firebase / Google Analytics), we analyze how users interact with Interesso. This helps us:
- understand what features are popular;
- identify areas of the app that could be improved;
- detect and fix technical issues (like crashes on specific device models).7. Legal Compliance and Protection
Where necessary, we will use or disclose data to:
- comply with legal obligations;
- resolve disputes;
- enforce our Terms and Conditions;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of Interesso, our users, or others.For instance, if required by law enforcement with proper authority, or to investigate fraud or a security incident, we might access and preserve relevant data.We will only use your personal information for the purposes above and will not process it in a manner incompatible with these purposes. If we plan to use data for a new purpose, we will update this Privacy Policy or request your consent as required.---Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we must have a valid legal basis to process your personal data. Most of our data processing is to fulfill our contract with you – i.e., to provide the Interesso services you request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).Examples:
- creating and managing your account;

- showing you local meetups and group content.If you choose not to provide certain information (like a name or email), we may not be able to provide the service.2. Consent
We rely on your consent in specific situations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), notably:- Marketing & Newsletters: we send promotional emails only if you explicitly opt in.
- Social Logins: by using Apple / Google / Facebook login, you consent to those services sharing certain data with us.
- Location Access: if the app requests precise location access, we ask for your permission via your device.You can decline consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.3. Legitimate Interests
We process some data in our legitimate interests as a business, while respecting your rights (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). This includes:- Analytics & Improvement: understanding how the app is used to improve features and user experience (using pseudonymous, aggregated data).
- Security & Anti-Abuse: monitoring for fraudulent activities, spam, harassment, or other Terms violations using IP addresses, device IDs, and logs.
- Essential Communications: sending necessary service messages (e.g., password resets, critical notifications).In all such cases, we balance our interests against your rights. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests (see Your Rights and Choices).4. Legal Obligation
Sometimes we must process or retain data to comply with a legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)), e.g.:
- responding to valid law enforcement requests;

We only share your data with these providers to the extent necessary, and each is bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.Key third-party services include:• Firebase (Google Cloud Platform)
- Interesso is hosted on Firebase servers (EU region).
- Firebase provides backend infrastructure, databases, user authentication, and file storage.
- Personal data (profile info, messages, etc.) is stored on Firebase servers.
- Google acts as our processor and is contractually bound to handle data securely and only according to our instructions.• Analytics Providers (Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics)
- Collect aggregated statistics about app usage and user behavior.
- Help us improve features and fix issues.
- We have data protection agreements in place with Google.• Google Maps (where used)
- Used to display meetup locations and help you find events near you.
- When you use maps, Google may collect data (e.g., location coordinates, search queries) under its own privacy policy.• Social Login Providers (Apple, Google, Facebook)
- Authenticate you and share basic account info (name, email, identifier) with us.
- They are separate data controllers for any personal data they hold about you.• Other Service Providers
We may additionally use providers for:
- email delivery (verification and notification emails),
- push notifications,
- crash reporting,
- future payment processing (if we add paid features).In each case, we share only the minimum necessary data.No Selling of Data
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.Sharing With Other Users
Remember that some information you provide is visible to others by design:- When you join a group or RSVP to an event, other members see your name and profile.
- Messages and posts in groups/events are visible to members of those spaces.Please only share what you’re comfortable with. Interesso cannot control how other users may use information you choose to publish.Legal or Safety Disclosures
We may disclose your data if reasonably necessary to:- comply with the law or legal process;

- Use up-to-date devices and security features (e.g., phone PIN, biometrics).
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized activity.Despite our efforts, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Activity Records & Backups
- Records of events you host or attend may be retained while your account exists.
- Encrypted backups may temporarily retain deleted data until rotated out.
- We may retain some data if necessary to meet legal obligations or enforce our Terms (e.g., in cases of abuse).Once there is no ongoing legitimate need or legal requirement, we securely delete or anonymize your data.---Your Rights and ChoicesIf you are in the EU/EEA or another region with similar laws, you have several rights regarding your personal data. - Object at any time to processing for direct marketing – we will stop immediately.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests; we will stop unless we have compelling grounds or need the data for legal claims.7. Withdraw Consent
Whenever we rely on your consent (e.g., newsletters, GPS location), you may withdraw it at any time. This does not affect past lawful processing but stops future processing based on that consent.8. No Automated Decisions
Interesso does not perform purely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.9. Lodge a Complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. For Interesso, the lead authority is in Germany (Thuringia – TLfDI).How to Exercise Your Rights

- We do not tie these IDs directly to your name or contact details.
- Interesso currently does not show third-party ads.No Cross-App Ad Tracking (for now)
We do not currently allow third-party ad networks to track you across apps via Interesso. If this changes, we will update this Policy and ask for any necessary consent.Your Choices for Tracking
- Use device settings (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS, Ads Personalization on Android) to limit or reset your advertising ID.
- If we offer in-app toggles for analytics or crash reporting, you can disable those where available.If you follow links from our app to external websites (e.g., event pages or payment processors), those sites may use their own cookies and tracking. Their policies will apply in those cases.---Children’s Privacy and Age RestrictionsInteresso is not directed at children under 13.- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Welcome to Interesso, a social networking mobile application designed to connect people through shared interests and facilitate offline meetups. These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Interesso app and services (collectively, the "Service").By downloading, registering an account, or otherwise using Interesso, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.Interesso is currently provided free of charge (no subscription fees) and is available globally. A separate Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and share your personal data (available at [Privacy Policy Placeholder]). By using the Service, you also agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.---2. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Interesso (referred to as "Interesso," "we," or "us"). You accept these Terms by creating an account or by otherwise accessing or using the Service.You may not use the Service if you are barred from receiving services under the laws of your applicable jurisdiction or if you have been previously banned from the Service.We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 16. Your continued use of the Service after any updated Terms have become effective indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. Interesso is intended for users of various ages, but you must be capable of entering into a binding contract in your country of residence to use the Service. In most countries, this means you must be at least the age of majority (18 in many jurisdictions).Individuals under 18 years old may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must review and agree to these Terms on their behalf.Certain features of the Service are restricted to adult users: for example, creating groups or organizing public events is only permitted for users 18 years or older.We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use Interesso; if you are under 13 years old (or under the minimum age in your jurisdiction for providing consent to data processing), please do not use or register for the Service.Because Interesso is available globally, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is in compliance with any local age restrictions and laws that apply in your area.---4. Account Registration and Security
To access most features of Interesso, you must register an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your name, a valid email address, date of birth, and your location. You are responsible for keeping your registration information up-to-date.You must also choose a secure password. You must safeguard your account credentials and not share them with others. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security, you agree to notify us immediately.You may only create and use one account for yourself, and you must not create an account for anyone else without their permission. If you create an account on behalf of an organization or group, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to bind that entity to these Terms.Account Deletion: You may delete your Interesso account at any time through the app’s account settings. Once you initiate deletion, your profile and personal information will be scheduled for removal from our active systems, as described in our Privacy Policy.Some content you have posted (such as messages or group posts) may remain visible to others if it was shared with them, and we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, backup archives or logs). By deleting your account, you understand that you will lose access to any information or content associated with that account.---5. User Content Ownership and License
Interesso allows users to create, post, and share content, including group listings, event descriptions, photos, text messages, and other materials (collectively, "User Content"). You retain ownership of any User Content that you create or post on Interesso. Interesso does not claim ownership over your User Content.However, in order for us to operate the Service, you grant Interesso a license to use your content as follows:License to Interesso: By submitting or posting User Content on the Service, you grant Interesso a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify (for example, reformat or adapt for technical display), distribute, publish, publicly perform, and publicly display your User Content for the purpose of operating, developing, providing, and promoting the Service.This license enables, for example, that we can display your posts to other users, crop or resize your photos for display, and include content you post in screenshots or marketing materials for Interesso.Duration of License: This license to your User Content continues until you remove the content from the Service or delete your account. If you remove content, the license will generally end after a reasonable period of time needed for full removal from backups and other systems.However, you understand that content you have shared with others (for example, sent in a group or posted in a public meetup) may continue to be used by those other users, and we may retain copies as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as to cooperate with law enforcement or to preserve evidence of our Terms enforcement).By posting any User Content, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to that content and are not violating any copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any other person or entity.You agree that your content will comply with the Acceptable Use requirements in Section 6. You are solely responsible for the User Content you create and share on Interesso. Interesso does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or quality of any User Content posted by users.While we are not obligated to monitor user postings, we reserve the right to remove or disable access to any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem objectionable, at our discretion.---6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited ContentWhen using Interesso, you must behave responsibly and respect the rights of others. You agree not to post or share any content that is illegal, harmful, or otherwise prohibited. In particular, you may NOT upload, transmit, create, or share content that:- Illegal or Harmful Content: Is unlawful, illegal, or promotes any illegal activities; contains defamatory or fraudulent statements; or could otherwise cause harm.
- Abusive or Hateful Content: Is abusive, harassing, bullying, or hateful toward any individual or group; includes hate speech, threats of violence, or any content that advocates hatred or harm against any person or group.
- Offensive or Obscene Material: Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit (particularly any content inappropriate for minors); depicts graphic violence or adult content without appropriate access restrictions.
- Infringing Content: Infringes or violates the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights, or encourages others to do so.
- Privacy Violations: Violates any person’s privacy or publicity rights, such as posting personal or identifying information about someone without their consent.
- Misleading or Fraudulent: Is intentionally false, misleading, or deceptive; impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your identity or affiliation with a person or entity.
- Spam or Malware: Constitutes unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any form of solicitation; or contains malicious code, viruses, worms, or any software intended to damage or hijack the operation of any hardware, software, or telecommunications equipment.
- Otherwise Harmful: Contains anything that is otherwise harmful, dangerous, or objectionable (including content that promotes self-harm, suicide, excessive violence, or harmful misinformation) or that violates any community standards we may implement.We expect all users to interact civilly and respectfully. Content that violates these rules may be removed, and accounts involved may be suspended or terminated (see Section 15 on Termination).Prohibited Activities
In addition to the content rules above, you agree not to engage in any of the following activities on or in relation to the Service:- Illegal Use: Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in furtherance of illegal activities. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances in your use of Interesso.
- Interference with Service: Do not interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service or the experience of other users. This includes not attempting to disable, overburden, or impair the Service or Interesso’s networks or systems (for example, by launching denial-of-service attacks or distributing malware).
- Unauthorized Access: Do not attempt to hack, gain unauthorized access to, or circumvent any security or authentication measures of the Service, other user accounts, or the servers and networks used to provide the Service. You will not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Interesso system or network without authorization.
- Automated Use: Do not use any automated means (such as bots, scrapers, or scripts) to access, collect data from, or otherwise interact with the Service, unless we have given you express permission. This includes not scraping content or attempting to extract source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of any part of the Service.
- Multiple Accounts and Impersonation: Do not create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes or to bypass account restrictions, and do not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Unauthorized Commercial Use: Do not resell, rent, or commercially exploit the Service or access to the Service, and do not use the Service to advertise or solicit users to buy or sell any products or services outside of Interesso without our prior written approval.

Interesso reserves the right (but does not assume the obligation) to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, including reporting you to law enforcement authorities if your conduct is unlawful.---7. 10. Beta Service Disclaimer
Interesso is currently in its initial (beta) release. This means the Service is still under active development and testing. Features and functionality are subject to change as we refine the app, and you may experience bugs, errors, or interruptions that would not be present in a final product.By using Interesso during this beta phase, you acknowledge and accept that:- The Service is provided as a “beta” product, which may not be fully functional in all respects. You may encounter software bugs, glitches, delayed notifications, or other issues. We appreciate your understanding and any feedback as we work to improve the Service.
- Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time as we update the app. What you see today in the app may evolve rapidly. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (temporarily or permanently) parts of the Service without prior notice as part of the beta development process.
- We do not guarantee any level of performance or availability during the beta period. The Service may be interrupted, including for maintenance, updates, or due to technical issues. See also Section 11 (Service Availability).
- Because this is an evolving platform, limited guarantees apply. You are solely responsible for any damage to your device or computer system, loss of data, or any other harm that results from your access to or use of the Service or any material downloaded from the Service.Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Interesso and its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any content on the Service.This limitation of liability applies to all claims, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if Interesso has been advised of the possibility of such damages, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed its essential purpose.In particular, Interesso will not be liable for any injury or damage resulting from the behavior of other users or third parties, or from your attendance at any offline meetups or events organized through the Service (see also Section 14 regarding Meetups).We are not responsible for any content posted by users or the actions of users, and you release Interesso from any claims or liability related to any content posted by other users or the conduct of other users.If, notwithstanding the above exclusions, Interesso is found to be liable to you for any claim or cause of action, our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action will not exceed the amount (if any) you have paid Interesso in the last six (6) months for the Service, or EUR €50, whichever is greater. (Since the Service is currently free, this monetary cap may effectively be zero in many cases.)Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded under law. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by Interesso’s negligence, or for Interesso’s fraud or willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, our liability will be limited to the smallest degree permitted by law.You agree that if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the Service, or with these Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue use of the Service and, if applicable, delete your account.---14. Meetups and User Interactions
A core purpose of Interesso is to enable users to connect in person through shared interests. However, Interesso does not supervise or control offline meetings or user interactions, and we cannot guarantee the safety or conduct of any individual participant.If you choose to meet up with one or more people you’ve connected with through Interesso, you acknowledge and agree that you do so voluntarily and at your own risk.Please exercise common sense and good judgment when arranging or participating in meetups: we recommend meeting in public places, letting friends or family know your plans, and being cautious about sharing personal information.Interesso is not responsible or liable for any personal injury, property damage, theft, loss, or any other harm or damages that may result from your voluntary participation in any offline meetings or events organized through the Service.All arrangements made through the Service are between the users involved, and Interesso disclaims any and all liability arising from or related to those interactions.Interesso does not conduct background checks on users, and we do not verify the truth or accuracy of users’ statements or identities.You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users of the Service, whether online or in person.We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor or become involved in disputes between users (though we may take action on the platform such as account suspension if a user is reported for harmful behavior).By using the Service, you release Interesso (and our officers, directors, employees, and agents) from any and all claims or liability arising from any personal interactions or meetings with other users.---15. Termination of UseBy Interesso:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.This can include, without limitation:- violation of these Terms,
- unlawful or improper use of the Service,
- creating risk or possible legal exposure for us or other users,
- extended periods of inactivity, or
- if we discontinue the Service.We may also remove or refuse to distribute any content you have provided at any time if we determine it violates our policies or these Terms. If we terminate your account for a violation of these Terms or unlawful behavior, you may not create a new account to circumvent the termination.By You:
You are free to stop using Interesso at any time. If you wish to terminate your agreement with us, you may delete your account at your discretion (see Section 4 on account deletion).Termination of your account will not relieve you of any obligation to pay any fees (though currently there are none) or charges owed to Interesso, if applicable, and will not affect any liability that may have arisen prior to termination.Effect of Termination:
Upon termination of your account, whether by you or us, your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease.We will have no obligation to maintain or provide any of your content, data, or information after termination, except as required by law or as provided in our Privacy Policy.However, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to the sections relating to User Content Ownership and License, Intellectual Property, No Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Meetups and User Interactions, Governing Law, and General Provisions.---16. Changes to These Terms
Interesso may modify or update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to the Terms, we will provide you with appropriate notice – for example, by sending an email to the address associated with your account or by displaying a prominent in-app notification – prior to the change becoming effective.The notice will designate a reasonable advance effective date for the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to keep your email address current and to review any new Terms that are communicated to you.If you continue to use the Service after the effective date of updated Terms, that continued use will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account before the new Terms take effect.We encourage you to periodically review the Terms and any guidelines or policies incorporated in them to ensure you understand the terms and conditions that apply to your use of Interesso.Updates to the Terms will typically be prospective, but in certain circumstances we may need to make immediate changes for legal reasons; in such cases, we will indicate that the changes are effective immediately.Except as may be expressly provided in the updated Terms, any changes or modifications will replace all previous versions of the Terms.---17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.However, if you are a consumer residing in a country with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws may apply for your benefit to the extent they are more protective. This governing law provision does not limit any consumer protection rights that you may be entitled to under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.Jurisdiction:
You and Interesso agree that all disputes arising under or related to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gera, Germany.You and Interesso consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.Notwithstanding this, you and Interesso each retain the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of a party’s intellectual property rights.Dispute Resolution and Mediation:
We encourage you to contact us first if you have any issue with the Service or these Terms, so we can attempt to resolve it informally.In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and Interesso, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to negotiate a written resolution for at least 30 days before initiating formal legal action.If negotiation fails, the parties may also agree to try in good faith to settle the dispute by mediation in Gera, Germany (or another location or online platform agreed upon by both parties) before resorting to litigation. Mediation is not mandatory under these Terms, but it is encouraged as a cost-effective and amicable way to resolve disagreements.---18. Miscellaneous Provisions- Entire Agreement: These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines or rules posted on the Service) constitute the entire agreement between you and Interesso regarding the Service. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the Service. Any additional or different terms proposed by you (for example, in any communication) are hereby rejected and shall be of no force or effect.- No Waiver: No failure or delay by Interesso in exercising any right or enforcing any provision of these Terms shall constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Similarly, a waiver of one instance of non-compliance with these Terms does not mean that we will waive any later instance of non-compliance. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Interesso.- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, then that provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remainder of the Terms will continue in full force and effect. In other words, the invalidity of one part of these Terms will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions, which will remain in effect.- Force Majeure: Interesso shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure arises from causes beyond its reasonable control. This includes, without limitation, acts of God, natural disasters, acts of government, war, civil unrest, acts of terror, labor shortages or strikes, global pandemics, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, or any other events of force majeure. During such events, our obligations under these Terms will be suspended to the extent and for the duration that they are affected by the force majeure.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Any attempt by you to assign in violation of this provision will be null and void. Interesso may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate, or to a successor in interest (for example, if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), or by operation of law. These Terms will bind and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors, and permitted assigns.- No Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms are for the benefit of you and Interesso. Except as expressly provided in these Terms, no third party has any rights to enforce any provision of these Terms.- Relationship of the Parties: You and Interesso are independent contracting parties. These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship. You have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on behalf of Interesso.- Headings and Interpretation: Section headings in these Terms are included for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. Words like "including" or "for example" are deemed to be followed by "without limitation."
